RB LaRod Stephens-Howling continues to be a force on special teams and Beanie Wells looked solid in his regular season debut.

--RB LaRod Stephens-Howling's 102-yard kickoff return for a touchdown was the team's longest since Roy Green had a 106-yard return against Dallas in 1979. It was the fifth longest in team history. Stephens-Howling's return means a new house for Dave Johnson of Surprise, Ariz. He entered a contest sponsored by Lennar Homes.

"I wish I could win a house for somebody every time I touched the ball," Stephens-Howling said.

--Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Sunday's victory over the Raiders "had as many twists and turns as any game that I've been involved with. We obviously still have a lot of work to do to get the puzzle that our team is together."

--Whisenhunt still has faith in rookie punt returner Andre Roberts, who struggled in those duties on Sunday. Roberts failed to catch two punts that ended up hitting Cardinals players and getting recovered by the Raiders.

"He's a young player," Whisenhunt said. "He's got skill in that area and we've got to continue to work with him."

--RB Beanie Wells gained 75 yards on 14 carries in his season debut. Wells looked powerful and fast after missing two games because of knee surgery.

--LB Paris Lenon had a sack and interception on consecutive plays in the second quarter. It was Lenon's first sack since 2008 and his first interception since 2007. It's the first time he has had both in a single game.

--OLB Joey Porter recorded his first sack as a Cardinal. He forced a fumble and a 10-yard loss by Oakland.

--WR Larry Fitzgerald scored his 61st touchdown on Sunday. That moved him past Sonny Randle into second place in franchise history. Roy Green has 69.

--DT Darnell Dockett started slowly on Sunday but played well in the second half. He finished with seven tackles, including a sack, two tackles for loss and two QB hits.
