Find out the latest happenings around the desert as the Cardinals take on Seattle for the NFC West lead.

--The Cardinals are 1-2 after a bye under Ken Whisenhunt. They have won four consecutive games over the Seahawks and six of the last seven.

--Coach Ken Whisenhunt played a round of golf during the bye week and wasn't pleased with the results. "I didn't play very well," he said, "which is to be expected after 11 weeks off."

--Whisenhunt held just one practice during the bye week, even though his team has been inconsistent through five games. He decided rest was more important than practice. The Cardinals will now go 11 weeks without a break, and Whisenhunt thought his team faded in the playoffs last year after playing 13 consecutive weeks.

--Receiver Larry Fitzgerald on the NFC not getting much credit: "It was terrible weekend for the NFC."

--Fitzgerald called Seattle his favorite road venue. "It's the loudest building you'll play in. You have that you-against-the-world feeling when you step out there. You see the No. 1 sign hanging in the air and the crazy guy in the tunnel calling you names. It's a great atmosphere."

--WR Stephen Williams suffered a small fracture in his back against the Saints but is expected to play against the Seahawks.

--WR Steve Breaston is expected to play against Seattle after missing two games with a knee injury.

--WR Early Doucet hopes to play after missing four games because of a sports hernia. Doucet will know about his chances Wednesday.

--LB Gerald Hayes is expected to begin practice Wednesday after spending the first six weeks of the season on the physically unable to perform list. Hayes likely will play against Seattle.

--OLB O'Brien Schofield expects to practice Wednesday after spending the first six weeks of the season on the non-football injury list. Schofield might be a few weeks away from playing in a game, however.
