--Safety Adrian Wilson was blunt when asked to evaluate his playing this season. "I'm just playing like (expletive)," he said. "Can't sugarcoat it." Wilson was beaten in coverage last week by the Seahawks, a week after giving up a touchdown against the Vikings.
--Ken Whisenhunt hinted that it's time for the leaders of the Cardinals to step forward. "We are getting it done during the week. The tempo has been good. We're just not carrying it over to games," he said.
--Linebacker Paris Lenon knows losing. And he knows what it looks like when a team gets discouraged. But he's not seeing those signs with the Cardinals. Lenon spent 2008 with Detroit, which didn't win a game that year, and 2009 with the Rams, who won one.
"Guys aren't slacking at all. I mean, at all," Lenon said. "There's no lack of effort, no lack of desire."
--The current four-game losing streak is the team's longest since Ken Whisenhunt became coach in 2007. In 2006, the club lost eight consecutive games under coach Dennis Green.
--OG Alan Faneca will play in his 200th game on Sunday. Faneca has started 137 consecutive games. He last missed one in 2001, when the Steelers held him out of the season finale as a precaution.
--DL Bryan Robinson played in his 200th game last week. He last missed a game in 2005.
--WR Larry Fitzgerald has caught a pass in 94 consecutive games, tying him with Bobby Joe Conrad for the second longest streak in franchise history. Mel Gray holds that record with 121.
--DE Darnell Dockett had played in 104 consecutive games before missing last week's contest with a shoulder stinger. A seventh-year pro, Dockett had never missed a game before.
--DE Alan Branch started the first game of his four-year career last week. Branch replaced Darnell Dockett and could start again this week if Dockett hasn't recovered sufficiently from a stinger.
