Cardinals try to address depth concerns

The Arizona Cardinals made three moves to improve depth at key positions this week, as they continue to prepare for the regular season.

The Cardinals made three moves to improve depth at key positions this week, signing:

--DE Kenny Iwebema, who played in seven games for the Cardinals last season before going down to a season-ending knee injury. --RB William Powell, an undrafted rookie out of Kansas State who was released Aug. 2.

--CB Thad Turner, who finished last season on New England's practice squad but was released Aug. 7.

--CB Desia Dunn was released.

--P Derek Epperson was released.

They also need a running back to replace Ryan Williams, who is out for the season after suffering a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.
