The Cardinals have lost five consecutive games and 10 straight games on the road. They haven't won away from home since the season opener of 2010, when they beat the Rams in St. Louis.
--CB Patrick Peterson defended Steelers WR Mike Wallace for most of Sunday's game. Wallace caught a 95-yard touchdown pass on one of the few plays in which he was guarded by someone else.
"Speed," coach Ken Whisenhunt said when asked about the decision to put Peterson on Wallace. "It was pretty evident (Sunday) that Patrick can run. He's rough around the edges and there are a lot of things he still has to learn, but he'll get better as he goes."
--OLB Stewart Bradley hasn't received much playing time for someone who signed a five-year, $30 million deal in the offseason. Bradley played more against the Steelers than he had in previous games. "We used him in some of the packages where he's a rusher and he's shown that he's got a talent for it," Whisenhunt said.
