The Cardinals have sold out 58 consecutive home games, a streak that's expecting to continue this week, rookie CB Patrick Peterson is already rewriting the record books in Arizona, the Cardinals have won just three of their last 18 games and more inside.

--The Cardinals have sold out 58 consecutive home games, but there was speculation the streak might end when they play the Rams. However, the Cardinals probably assured themselves a sellout when they packaged this game with the Steelers game for single-game sales. Those wanting Steelers tickets also had to purchase tickets to the Rams game.

--Patrick Peterson became the first Cardinal since Vai Sikahema in 1986 to return two punts for touchdowns in the same season. Sikahema and Ollie Matson hold the franchise career record with three. "That's my No. 1 love -- playing punt return," Peterson said. "I told my guys at the beginning of the week, 'All I ask for is give me 5 yards and meet me in the end zone.' That's what those guys did."

--The Cardinals have won just three of their past 18 games. They had a seven-game losing streak last season, and they currently have a six-game streak.

--Outside linebacker Joey Porter entered the season needing three sacks to reach 100 for his career. He has just one and might have lost his starting job. Porter sat out last week because of a knee injury, and his replacement, rookie Sam Acho, had a sack and a forced fumble. A backup, O'Brien Schofield, also had a sack and a forced fumble while playing in Porter's spot.

--The Cardinals have led in the second half in four of their losses. In three of them, they have held the lead entering the fourth quarter.

BY THE NUMBERS: 3-15 -- That's the Cardinals' record since they started the 2010 season 3-2. They had a seven-game losing streak in 2010, and their current skid is six games. At 1-6, this is the Cardinals' worst start since 2006, when they went 1-8 before earning their second win. That was Dennis Green's last season as head coach.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "We just have to learn how to finish. We don't have a lights-out mentality to finish teams off." -- Strong safety Adrian Wilson.

SERIES HISTORY: 65th regular-season meeting. Series tied, 31-31-2. The Cardinals had beaten the Rams eight consecutive times until last December, when St. Louis won 19-6. Cardinals quarterback Derek Anderson completed just seven of 20 passes, and Arizona failed to convert on 10 of 11 third-down opportunities. Steven Jackson gained 102 yards on 29 carries and scored the only touchdown of the day.
