Cardinals: Latest Player Notes

QB John Skelton was benched Sunday after throwing his third interception of the game, DT Dan Williams is out for the year with a broken arm and much more inside.

--QB John Skelton was benched Sunday after throwing his third interception of the game. Skelton has started the last three games, and coach Ken Whisenhunt suggested Skelton would start in St. Louis should Kevin Kolb not be ready to play.

--WR Larry Fitzgerald passed the 9,000-yard career receiving mark, becoming the second-youngest player to reach that milestone. Randy Moss was the youngest.

--DE Calais Campbell had his third blocked field goal of the year and the fifth of his career.

--NT Dan Williams suffered a broken left arm in the second half and is lost for the season. David Carter will become the starter.

--QB Rich Bartel's touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald was the first TD toss of his career. Bartel completed eight of 16 passes for 64 yards after taking over for John Skelton.

--WR Early Doucet expects to be fined for his part in an altercation with 49ers S Dashon Goldson in the fourth quarter.
