--Wide receiver Early Doucet is expecting a fine after an altercation with 49ers safety Dashon Goldson in the fourth quarter. Doucet said Goldson blindsided him far away from the ball, and Doucet retaliated by hitting Goldson in the back of the head. Goldson threw three or four punches.
"He kind of hit me while I wasn't looking. I just kind of lost it after that," Doucet said. "I'm usually a fair player, and I feel like that wasn't a fair shot he took at me."
--Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald caught the 71st touchdown pass of his career and quickly gave the ball to quarterback Rich Bartel. It was Bartel's first touchdown pass in the NFL.
--It might be news to the rest of the NFL, but the Cardinals and 49ers have a fierce rivalry.
"They don't like us. We don't like them," defensive end Darnell Dockett said. "There always will be a little extra there."
The Cardinals have lost five consecutive games to the 49ers.
"I hate giving them (the 49ers) credit," Dockett said, "but that is a good football team we played."
--The Cardinals blocked two field goals in a game for the first time since 1972. Calais Campbell blocked one of them, giving him three blocks for the season and five for his career. Campbell thinks the Cardinals' success has to affect a kicker's mental outlook.
"If you're a kicker, you know we're coming, and I think it definitely affects the way they kick the ball, the way they approach," he said. "Hopefully it intimidates a couple of kickers in the near future."
