Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson recently took a pay cut but can earn some of it back with improved performance on the field.

Strong safety Adrian Wilson's new contract was billed as a two-year extension. And that's true: he is now under contract through 2015. But it also was a pay cut. Wilson is due to make $10 million less in salary over the next two years. He can recoup some of that if he plays at a Pro Bowl level.

QUOTE TO NOTE: ""I remember coming here in 2004 and we had to pay people to come watch us practice." -- Receiver Larry Fitzgerald on the number of people who watched Saturday's practice.
