Erik Walden suspended for one game by NFL

Green Bay Packers linebacker Erik Walden has been suspended by the NFL for one game without pay for a violation of the NFL personal conduct policy. Walden was arrested last season for felony charges of substantial battery for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. She later recanted her accusation and charges weren't filed and he was freed from jail.

Walden was a 15-game starter last season, recording three sacks. He's slated to be a backup this season.
