The Denver Broncos have signed former New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens safety Jim Leonhard today, Broncos executive John Elway announced. Leonhard recently visited the Buffalo Bills. Leonhard tore his anterior cruciate ligament last December and had surgery to repair the damage.

Leonhard had 48 tackles and one interception in 13 starts last season for the Jets.

The 5-foot-8, 188-pound former Wisconsin standout has 324 tackles, six interceptions and two forced fumbles for his career.
