The Cincinnati Bengals gave up on wide receiver Jordan Shipley, cutting him from the roster today. He was drafted in the third-round two years ago out of the University of Texas. As a rookie, he caught 52 passes for 600 yards and three touchdowns. Shipley had been with the team since the 2010 season.

The Bengals also cut kicker Thomas Weber, a first-year player from Arizona State initially signed a year ago.
