Matt Ryan signs new deal worth over $100 mil

The Falcons have signed quarterback Matt Ryan to a five-year contract that's worth over $100 million, according to both ESPN and Pro Football Talk. Ryan will now average over $20 million per year with his new deal. All eyes have been on Ryan since Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, drafted in the same year, signed his $120.6 million deal earlier this offseason.

In 2012, Ryan threw for 4,719 yards and 32 touchdowns, both being career bests. Ryan guided Atlanta to the NFL Championship, where the Falcons lost 28-24 to the 49ers. For more NFL coverage, go to profootball.scout.com
