There were 14 former Florida players active in the NFL this weekend and eight of them started.

Brandon Spikes started at linebacker for the New England Patriots and made nine tackles, one tackle for a loss and a fumble recovery.

Will Hill started at free safety for the New York Giants and made six tackles and forced a fumble. Louis Murphy saw time at receiver and caught one pass, a four-yard touchdown to tie the game in the fourth quarter.

Major Wright started at safety for the Chicago Bears and made five tackles. Jon Bostic started at linebacker and made five tackles.

Caleb Sturgis went 3-4 in field goals with a long of 47 yards for the Miami Dolphins.

Joe Haden started at cornerback for the Cleveland Browns and made three tackles with three pass breakups.

Matt Elam started at safety for the Baltimore Ravens and made five tackles.

Josh Evans started at safety for the Jacksonville Jaguars and made one tackle.

Sharrif Floyd saw time at defensive tackle for the Minnesota Vikings and made one tackle.

Marcus Gilbert started at right tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Saw action but didn't record a stat: Denver Broncos wide receiver Andre Caldwell, Miami Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins, New York Jets wide receiver David Nelson.
