COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — It wasn't the finality Thomas Richard had in mind but the senior wide receiver left it all on the field after a 15-game senior season in the Volunteer State.

Christ Presbyterian Academy lost the 2013 TSSAA Class 3A state championship to Alcoa 25-7, bringing a close to the prep career for both Richard and fellow Missouri commit Paul Adams.

In the title game, Richard caught a pass for 9 yards. He also returned one kickoff for 11 yards.

Richard was one of the first 2014 prospects to give Mizzou the nod as he first declared his intentions to play in Columbia back on April 28.
