The Cardinals took a loss against the New York Giants, but how did they stack up on their report card?

PASSING OFFENSE: B -- Kurt Warner threw for more than 300 yards for the fifth consecutive game, but he also had an interception and a fumble. Still, Warner played well and the receivers made plays.

RUSHING OFFENSE F -- The Cardinals are getting nothing from the running game. Rookie running back Tim Hightower has little room to run, and the Cardinals don't call enough runs for the line to improve.

PASS DEFENSE: C -- Giants QB Eli Manning rarely was under pressure, and the Cardinals couldn't force a turnover. Cornerback Eric Green let an interception go through his hands.

RUSH DEFENSE: A -- The Giants came into the game averaging more than 5 yards per carry but the Cardinals held them to 87 yards on 27 attempts, 3.2 per try. Safety Adrian Wilson and linebacker Karlos Dansby each had nine tackles.

SPECIAL TEAMS: D -- The Giants had two long kick returns that led to 10 points, and the Cardinals bungled a hold on an extra point. Returner J.J. Arrington had a big game, however, and Neil Rackers made three of four field goals. His only miss was a 68-yard free kick.

COACHING: B -- The defensive game plan was fine. Wilson moved down into the box and was a force against the run. Offensively, the Cardinals moved the ball against one of the league's best defenses. There were too many breakdowns on special teams.
