Training Camp: Boldin Accounted For

Posted Jul 30, 2009

The Arizona Cardinals haven't shored up two major contracts at the start of training camp. Here are the latest updates.

WR Anquan Boldin remains unhappy about his contract, but did report on time to the Cardinals' training camp. He declined to talk to reporters. Boldin did not participate in the voluntary portion of the offseason program, citing a hamstring injury. Boldin has two years remaining on his contract and hired Tom Condon this spring to replace Drew Rosenhaus.

RB Beanie Wells, the Cardinals' first-round pick, remains unsigned. "There haven't been a whole lot of first rounders that have signed," coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "We're coming in a couple of days earlier than most guys so maybe it will speed up over the next day or two."
