Game Time: Matt Leinart Likely to Start

Kurt Warner will likely sit for today's game against the Tennessee Titans. ESPN reported that he woke up with a sore neck, which is a symptom of a concussion. With the NFL's increasing concern over head traumas, it's likely the Cardinals will take all precautions with Warner.

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to sit starting quarterback Kurt Warner Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. ESPN reported that he woke up with a sore neck Sunday morning after suffering a concussion against the St. Louis Rams last week.

Warner took normal snaps this week in practice, but having a sore neck seven days after a concussion is concerning.

Matt Leinart will get the go-ahead if the Cardinals sit Warner. Leinart played a little more than a half in the Cardinals win over the Rams. He posted 74 yards on 10 completions, out of 14.

The situation isn't dire. If Leinart can't produce against the Titans, the Cardinals have a comfortable lead in the division and can skate through most of their remaining schedule (for a complete breakdown click here ).

The Cardinals also have an improving ground game that can help Leinart take control of Sunday's game. Expect Tim Hightower and Beanie Wells to get the most carries of both of their young careers.
