The Arizona Cardinals weren't the same team that faced the Green Bay Packers in the regular-season finale, which was all by design. This week's report card reflects the changes.

REPORT CARD VS.PACKERS

PASSING OFFENSE: A –- Kurt Warner turned in one of the best passing performances in playoff history. He had more touchdown passes (5) than incompletions (4) and didn’t have an interception. He was sacked only once.

RUSHING OFFENSE: A –- The Cardinals gained 156 yards and averaged 6.8 yards a carry against the Packers, who led the NFL in rush defense this year. Beanie Wells gives the club a big play threat it’s lacked for the past several years.

PASS DEFENSE: D -- The Cardinals were shredded by quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his receivers. The Cardinals were able to get some pressure on Rodgers, and a sack and fumble led to the game-winning touchdown in overtime.

RUSH DEFENSE: B -- The Packers weren’t able to run consistently, mostly because they fell behind early and trailed by 21 in the third quarter.

SPECIAL TEAMS: D -- Kicker Neil Rackers missed a 34-yarder at the end of regulation. The club was caught napping by an onside kick, and punter Ben Graham’s only punt went just 24 yards.

COACHING: A -- Coach Ken Whisenhunt’s offensive game plan was masterful and he seemed one step ahead of the Packers with his play calls. The defensive play calls worked in the first half, but the Cardinals melted down in the second.
