The Cardinals picked a bad time to kick off their second losing streak of the season. Their playoff chances flew out the window, as did their chances of making the honor roll.
PASSING OFFENSE: B -- Quarterback Kurt Warner passed for three touchdowns and his only interception should have been caught.
RUSHING OFFENSE: B -- Edgerrin James was effective but didn't get the ball enough because the club fell behind.
PASS DEFENSE: F -- Saints quarterback Drew Brees was 26 of 30 and had two touchdowns. He was sacked only once and didn't throw an interception.
RUSH DEFENSE: D -- Saints running back Aaron Stecker rushed for 95 yards and the Saints finished with 114. They had some gaping holes.
SPECIAL TEAMS: B -- Kicker Neil Rackers missed a 54-yarder, the sixth time in nine tries that he's missed from 50 or more yards. Punter Mitch Berger was excellent and the coverage teams were good.
COACHING: C -- The Cardinals are undermanned on defense and the offense makes too many mistakes to compensate.
