If physically sound, the Cardinals got an absolute steal at pick number 31, drafting Ohio State' Chris Wells. The birds might have reached some, but Cody Brown is a tough individual who showed wide rush skills. I thought Rashad Johnson, although undersized, was as impressive a safety as I viewed all season. Tolar impressed a lot of folks in the post season, but it's a long way from St Pauls to the NFL. I didn't like LSU's Herman Johnson' movement nor his ability to bend or recover, but in today's modern offensive systems (nobody pulls traps or work down the field) he should do just fine. What possibly could they have been thinking drafting back up running back LaRod Stephens-Howling from the University of Pittsburgh? He lacks top speed and at 5' 7" he is more than a 14 inches shorter and nearly a hundred and eighty pounds lighter than the aforementioned Herman Johnson! Come on boys, you are drafting for the NFL and not some junior college in Kansas! Canfield is a tough guy, but slipped badly as a senior. I didn't think he showed contact balance and didn't get good fit on blocks. He's stiff, a waist bender, has short arms, and I believe a three technique with wiggle would give him all types of problems.
