The Arizona Cardinals drafted Darryl Blackstock out of Virginia with their second selection in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft.
2007
Blackstock split time with Joe Tafoya to replace Bertrand Berry who was injured midway through the season. In his absence, Blackstock earned a career-high 21 tackles and three sacks. He was active in all 16 games.
2006
Blackstock appeared in all 16 games with the Cardinals with one start. He tacked on 11 tackles and his first career pass deflection.
2005
In Blackstock's rookie campaign he made 14 appearances, which included one start. He made 12 tackles and his first NFL sack against Jamie Martin (StL).
