The Arizona Cardinals selected Gerald Hayes out of Pittsburgh in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft (70th overall).
2007
Hayes led the Cardinals with 98 tackles, a career high. He also set career highs with four sacks and three pass deflections. Hayes ran in his first pick return for a touchdown.
2006
Hayes recovered well from his 2005 injury. He started in all 14 games he appeared in for the Cardinals. Hayes recorded a career-high 93 tackles and three interceptions. Made his first career sack in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.
2005
The Cardinals deactivated Hayes for the enitre 2005 season (knee).
2004
Hayes played in all 16 games for the Cardinals with one start. He made 24 tackles.
2003
In his rookie campaign, Hayes was active for 12 games with two starts for the Cardinals. He made 30 tackles. |
