Troy Bienemann earned time with the Arizona Cardinals after keeping up with their first-team offense in 2007 training camp. Bienemann graduated from Washington State in 2006, but went undrafted and tore his ACL in New Orleans Saints camp out of college. Bienemann overcame the injury and broke onto the Arizona roster in his first year in red.
2007
Bienemann spent his first season as an active member of the Cardinals. He appeared in all 16 games and started in four. Bienemann tacked on seven receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown.
College
Caught 96 balls for 1,000 yards in four years (2002-05) as a starter at Washington State. Also a three-time All-Academic pick. Had a free agent tryout with New Orleans in 2006 but reinjured a knee in mini-camp and was cut. Over his last two seasons at WSU he caught 50 passes for 566 yards. |
